Where Children Can Learn in Nature's Laboratory At
Camp Wartburg, located in southern Illinois just 20 miles from greater
St. Louis, students can explore the diversity of our world and their place
in it. Surrounded
by farmland, the camp's 108 acres of woods, hills, stream and pond offer
a living laboratory where childwn can discover and learn first-hand, for
themselves. You
can use Camp Wartburg for a wide variety of outdoor educational experiences
- from plant and animal study to the study of ecosystems. Star gazing.
Creative writing. Individual skills and team sports. The
camp's staff can help you develop your oultdoor education event if you
wish, or you can create and run it entirely on your own. Overnight accommodations and meal plans are available. So, come for a day ... or longer. The choice is yours. To learn more or to schedule an event, please contact the Camp Director through our request information page.
