Outdoor Education for Schools

Where Children Can Learn in Nature's Laboratory

At Camp Wartburg, located in southern Illinois just 20 miles from greater St. Louis, students can explore the diversity of our world and their place in it.

Surrounded by farmland, the camp's 108 acres of woods, hills, stream and pond offer a living laboratory where childwn can discover and learn first-hand, for themselves.

You can use Camp Wartburg for a wide variety of outdoor educational experiences - from plant and animal study to the study of ecosystems. Star gazing. Creative writing. Individual skills and team sports.

The camp's staff can help you develop your oultdoor education event if you wish, or you can create and run it entirely on your own.

Overnight accommodations and meal plans are available. So, come for a day ... or longer. The choice is yours.
