Schools and Outdoor Education Public and parochial classes of students visit Camp Wartburg as an extension of their classroom studies. Single day or overnight experiences engage students in the study of animal habitats, watersheds, lake ecosystems, tree/animal/insect identification and more. The hands-on study of nature validates what is studied in the classroom. Camp Wartburg serves over 50 schools each year from a large geographical area.
